Deuterium lamps emit an almost continuous spectrum of light ranging from the main UV wavelengths of 160 – 400 mm to the visible spectral range (800 mm). This makes them the ideal light source for high precision absorption measurements, e.g. in HPLC. Heraclitus Noble light offers a wide range of deuterium lamps: Lamps with a guaranteed lifetime of 1000 or 2000 hours, with quartz or UV-glass envelopes, shine-through lamps and different sorts of special lamps.
